Glittered Candles

It's easy to turn every day things into sparkling wonders with glue and glitter. Plain, ordinary pillar candles can become gorgeous decorations to use all over the house

You will need:

Candles
Craft glue
Glitter
Paint brush
Bowl and dessert spoon

How to:

1. Make sure the candles are clean and dry, before brushing all over with craft glue. You may notice the glue 'beads' a little, this is because the wax is trying to repel the glue. Just work over those areas to ensure plenty of glue coverage

2. Pour glitter into a deep bowl and use a dessert spoon to cover the candles with glitter. You may find it easier to hold the candles by their wicks or else with 3 tooth picks threaded into each base. (Using three picks allows them to stand easily while drying)

3. Once covered, leave for a few hours to dry before dusting off the excess glitter. Place onto candle stands or plates to keep excess glitter and melted wax at bay
