Arrange items in small groups according to colour, pattern, style or use. Grouping this way, to form compositions, adds impact and harmony and is the secret to showing off a collection rather than randomly displaying items around the room

To keep the room from looking tired, rotate and possibly edit a collection every few months and also consider new and unusual ways for display. This allows for renewed enjoyment of the individual pieces and provides the opportunity to add a fresh new accents to the room

Glass cabinets or modular shelving with inbuilt lighting can really show off a specific collection and can help to minimise dust and potential damage.  Alternatively, if space is at a premium, pack away some of your collection and rotate things seasonally
